Big sun coming strong through the motel blinds
Wake up to your girl for now let’s call her Cleopatra…
He grunted in his sleep. She looked over at him, making out his silhouette as the early morning light filtered through the dirty window. The whole room was dirty. The carpet was old. Once thick and plush, it was now bare, worn down and torn in some places. Just like her. She didn’t usually let them stay to see the morning but she was too tired to argue and he was a regular. Obese and needing a blue pill, she had developed a weird affection for this man that could find none in the big bad world. He treated her kindly. So few of them did.
I watch you fix your hair
He squinted through eyes that pretended to be asleep. It was the first time he had seen a woman in the morning light. First time waking up next to one. For a minute he pretended she wanted him there and would kiss him awake. He wondered if he could pay her to do that…
Then put your panties on in the mirror, Cleopatra
She was getting old, tired. It wasn’t as easy to get attention. She looked on in well concealed jealousy as the younger girls got the “better men”. She didn’t fight them like some of the older hags. She was resigned to it and took the little she could get. She’d been in the game long enough to know how it would go. The sigh that escaped her lips was barely audible. Her breasts were still beautiful. Slightly weighed down with age but very round. Her nipples always seemed ready. She cupped them in a lacy bra, her one good luxury.
Then your lipstick, Cleopatra
She dressed slowly. She was in no hurry. Nobody was waiting for her. She let down her hair. Thick, beautiful, strong raven hair. So deep black that it looked almost blue when the sun bounced off it. His eyes were fully open and he watched her with her back to him. She wore a simple dress, white, one that looked like it had seen many days. What he had always thought to be a faint pink lipstick was her natural lip colour. She pursed her lips and licked them quickly out of habit and they glistened. They were full and supple and beautiful, just like her. He had been with her many times but she had never kissed him. He yearned for a kiss now.
Then your six inch heels
She turned unexpectedly and caught him staring. He smiled, almost sadly. An unexpected rush of rage bubbled inside her that he should feel sorry for her but it disappeared almost as fast as it came. She felt sorry for him too. She walked across the room and picked up her bag. He’d left the money on the chest of drawers. She noticed that He had been particularly generous tonight. He’d left a nice tip. She smiled. He treated her kindly.
She’s headed to the pyramid
“I guess I’ll see you later then”. Her voice was husky and sensual, perhaps a bit more so than usual being that they were her first words of the day. She spoke slowly and deliberately, with respect for nobody’s time but hers. He loved that about her. She smiled at him one last time before she walked out of the room. He knew where to find her if he needed to.
She’s working at the pyramid tonight.
